Name: Manuel Maddalozzo.
Current Ford owned: 1965 XP Falcon.
Other cars presently owned: VZ Commodore Ute (I know, I know)!
Previous Fords owned: 351 XD Ute, ugly as sin but the running gear was bulletproof!
Family Details: Just me and the mongrel blue dog.
How did you get into Fords: Usually through the door although the odd Dukes of Hazzard style bonnet slide and leap in through the window slips in there...
What do like most about owning your Ford: The sentimental value being that it was Granddad's and that it was the first of the truly Australian Falcons.
If you could change anything on it what would it be: Eventually I'll bite the bullet and get the body resprayed. As parts become harder to find I may have to upgrade but I'll keep it original for as long as I can.
How did you find your current car: It's been in the family from 12months off new.
Most memorable Ford moment: Sitting in the back seat of mum and dad's XB coupe wishing I could see out of the tiny window that seemed to be six feet above the seat!
Best road for driving the Ford: Anywhere when I'm not in a rush. It's a cruiser. Plus bench seats with no seatbelts can make corners really interesting.
Motor sport interests: Supercars, Any sort of Rally/Offroad racing, Jet Sprint Boats, Paddock Bashing (it's a sport!).
Your ideal Ford would be: XC Cobra build No. 351.
If you had to own a car other than a Ford, it would be: 69 Dodge Charger or a 71 Plymouth GTX 440.
Should Ford bring back the GTHO: No. In any form I think it would be a shadow of it's former self. Handling Options these days seems to refer to Climate Control Air conditioning and Bluetooth compatibility.
Favourite Club event: Any excuse to get the XP out for a run with a group of people who appreciate the cars.
A car you would never own: Honda Civic or anything with a Milo tin exhaust or accessories describable as bling.
Favourite Bathurst moment: Hearing Skaife's latest excuse for why it was someone else's fault, never his, that he lost... or crashed, or broke down, etc, etc, etc.
Fastest speeding fine: $155 for 135 in a 100 zone, a bargain really by today's prices!
Other interests: Scuba diving, Water skiing, Mountain biking.
Football team: Canberra Raiders.
Four people you would share a meal with: James May, Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson and The Stig.
Other sports interests: Not Cricket and not Tennis which means I am all out of luck at the moment. Thank god for DVD's!
Most admired person: My parents.
Best holiday spot: I think any chance to get away and experience someplace new is a step in the right direction.
Favourite restaurant: Hog's Breath.
Ideal weekend: Kicking back and relaxing with a few cleansing ales and a barbeque.
